Hue Night Food Tour Half day

Start Time: 18:00 PM

  • Your guide will pick you up at your hotel by cyclo, a traditional three-wheeled rickshaw, to begin your night tour through the poetic streets of Hue.

  • The first stop is “Hang Me” Restaurant on Vo Thi Sau Street, where you'll sample a selection of Hue’s signature savory cakes, including:

    • Banh Beo (steamed rice cakes)

    • Banh Nam (flat rice dumplings)

    • Banh Bot Loc (tapioca dumplings with shrimp and pork)

    • Banh Ram It (crispy and sticky rice cakes)

    • Banh Uot (steamed thin rice pancakes)

  • Next, your cyclo will take you to Hen Island, a peaceful riverside area famous for dishes made with baby clams. Enjoy authentic clam rice (com hen) and clam noodles (bun hen), beloved by locals for their bold, spicy flavors.

  • Continue along the charming Le Loi Street, where you'll stop at a local sweet soup shop to taste Hue's traditional sweet soups (che), a colorful and delicious symbol of local dessert culture.

  • Head to Dinh Tien Hoang Street to try more local specialties such as:

    • Banh Khoai (crispy stuffed pancake)

    • Nem Lui (grilled lemongrass skewers with dipping sauce)

  • Along the way, enjoy brief stops at some of Hue’s iconic landmarks:

    • The Imperial Citadel, once the royal residence of the Nguyen Dynasty

    • Truong Tien Bridge, beautifully illuminated at night

  • Your evening continues with a relaxing cyclo ride through Hue’s atmospheric streets. You’ll also have a chance to browse and purchase traditional souvenirs such as sesame candies, conical hats, sour shrimp, Ao Dai (long dresses), and Minh Mang wine.

  • 22:00 – Return to your hotel. End of tour.
